The Hungry Elephant

Basically a 3-pointer in the cuisine world.

What you’ll need:

2 cups macaroni noodles – cooked
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons flour
1 tablespoon plain cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese (I used pre-shredded cheddar, but i suggest a brick of old cheddar cheese, taste will be much stronger)
Bread crumbs and French’s fried onions (to top/optional)
salt and pepper to taste

While you are cooking your 2 cups of macaroni noodles, place milk in a pot and heat over medium. Stir frequently so it does not burn. When it simmers, whisk in the flour. Stir.

Add in plain cream cheese. When that has melted in, add in your shredded cheese and stir. (must stir otherwise it wont mix in)

Taste – Feel free to add more cheese. Add salt and pepper to your liking.

Once both are done cooking, add cooked macaroni to a casserole dish, then top with the sauce. Mix together. Cook on 375 for 30 minutes until the bread crumbs are nicely browned.
