Brown Sugar Salmon

You’ll recognize this soy sauce & brown sugar salmon from Pinterest.. It’s one of the most pinned food pics  but the recipe was always so vague.. Not only that, it says baked, but it was obviously grilled. (Simpsons anyone? Grilled hams!) So here’s an AMAZING take on that Pinterest recipe.

I give it 5/5 elephants!

What you’ll need:

5-8 pieces of fresh raw salmon
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup olive oil

Mix water, soy sauce, sugar and oil in bowl. Put pieces of salmon in bowl and marinade for an hour or two.

Throw the salmon in a saute pan – add the marinade so it fills about an INCH of the pan..

Cook on medium.. turning over to cook thoroughly. The marinade will slowly dissipate.

If you like it crispy, turn it up to medium high and sear each side.
