If you’re a chocolate lover like me, you’ll enjoy this Nutella Monkey bread!
Super easy, super delicious, what more can you ask for? I made this for National Nutella day (Feb 5th) and it went over well – it was gone in about 5 minutes!
- 2 packages of Pillsbury biscuits
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
So first things first, take the dough out of the package and cut each circle all in half. Flatten them with a roller and spread a small dollop of Nutella in the middle (of a flattened halved biscuit dough).
Fold the dough around Nutella, then roll it around to form a ball. Continue to do this with the rest of the dough.
Once you have done that, fill a bag or bowl with the white sugar and cinnamon. Drop in the balls of dough and make sure each one is covered in the mix.
Place them in a bunt cake dish (or regular cake dish)
In a pan, melt the butter & brown sugar. Mix until the sugar has dissolved. Here comes the best part – cover the dough with the butter/sugar mix. Mmmmm. Cut up some bananas and put them on top. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes! BAM! You’ve got nutella monkey bread. Just pull apart!
