Name: Joss Bacalla

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Tell us about yourself: I was born and raised in Toronto, ON and spent most of my life binge-watching 80s sitcoms. I knew I wanted to work in television and create content at a young age and graduated from Centennial College with a degree in Broadcast/Film. I launched my career Producing for Canada’s leading television networks and Production Coordinating for The Grammy Awards and the Toronto International Film Festival. I’ve managed to create a following in the Once Upon A Time fandom uploading weekly reviews of the show with my boyfriend on our YouTube Channel: Jake and Jossyl. Currently, my main focus is my blog JossBecause.com where I write about lifeestyle, entertainment, fashion and everything in between!

You can find me swooning over Liam Neeson and Jeff Goldblum, planning my next Julie Andrews tattoo or eating Oreos with almond milk.

Cooking or takeout: I prefer eating a home cooked meal any day, but I can’t cook. So takeout.

Your go-to snack: Oreo thins. Those babies are like chips, I can eat a whole bag in one sitting.

Sweet or salty: Sweet 100%.

Favourite cheat meal or indulgence: Every day is a cheat meal to be honest. I have the worst diet and never watch what I eat. Pasta and burgers for my meal and I will eat anything for dessert. Mostly cookies, cakes, pies, donuts, you get the picture.

Ideal dinner (if you could have ANYTHING): Thanksgiving dinner. Ham, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, mushroom sauce, my mouth is watering.

Something you haven’t tried yet: Quail.

Favourite restaurant: Gracias Madre in West Hollywood.

Road trip snacks: Cookies.

Work lunch: Luckily my work provides catered meals every day. So I’m usually eating that.

Best place to travel for food: I haven’t been there, but I would say Italy.

Worst thing you’ve eaten: Cherries and olives!

Best thing you’ve eaten: Fresh sushi. And cookies.

Pro-Cilantro or No Cilantro: Love me some cilantro!

Finally, favourite snack for binge-watching: Oreo thins. Oh my god I’m the worst.

Thanks for taking the time to chat, Joss!
