Thanksgiving Brussell Sprouts!

by hungryelephant

Looking for a delicious dish for Thanksgiving? Look no further – our Thanksgiving Brussel Sprouts are amazing!

Not a fan of brussel sprouts? Neither am I. Boiling them can taste horrible, so why not boil, stuff and bake? I decided to add a little something something (aka cheese) to make this brussel sprout recipe so much better. Even the kids will like them!

Just remember, when you’re making this recipe – the brussel sprouts will be cut in halfs, so if you boil 10 brussel sprouts, you’ll have 20 when you’re done. So cook accordingly!

What you’ll need:

  • 10 – 15 Brussel Sprouts (or however many you want, but i suggest a small amount as you’ll cut them in half later)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 panko or bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Drop in the brussel sprouts and boil for about 10 minutes.

Remove from water and let cool (otherwise you’ll burn your hands!)

Cut the sprouts in half and scoop out the insides so its just a shell. Put the stuff you scooped out into a separate bowl.
In the bowl with the leftover sprouts, add the cheese, panko, tarragon, pepper and olive oil. Mix thoroughly.

Scoop the mix back into the shells of the brussel sprouts. Broil on high until browned. Or you can bake at 400 until browned! YUM! So good! There’s your Thanksgiving brussel sprouts.
