Ok – so I’ve been a bit behind in recipes, with Christmas and all. I uploaded the video for this Baked Sesame Drumsticks last week but just getting around to throwing it up here. If you don’t follow our youtube, subscribe! Most of our recipes are put up there first.

These baked sesame drumsticks are perfect for wings if you don’t want to fry them, and its SUPER easy to make. For perfect crispiness, you should turn them over once.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 4 drumsticks
  • salt and pepper

First you’re going to want to prep the chicken. Take a paper towel and dry the skin so it’s not wet, but a bit tacky. Drop them in a bowl and shake a few dashes of salt and pepper over them. Rub the chicken together so that the salt and pepper is on each drumstick.

In another bowl or measuring cup, mix together the olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce and hot sauce. Drizzle all over the chicken and make sure each drumstick is covered.

Put the chicken onto a baking sheet. I put foil on mine to make cleanup easier.

Drizzle the rest of the sauce onto the chicken. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Again, for perfect crispiness, turn half way through!
