Just in time for the Super Bowl – better make tons, because you’re guests will be asking for more of these maple prosciutto asparagus bites! Super simple to make and very very tasty.
I love prosciutto, but it is incredibly salty, especially when cooked in a pan. If you can, try to get it with reduced sodium.
What you’ll need:
Cut the white ends off your asparagus. Take a piece of prosciutto and slowly wrap it up the piece so that it covers the entire asparagus. (See video below if you’re confused)
In a relatively large pan, heat up a tablespoon of olive oil. Place the asparagus in and cook on medium, turning each asparagus often.
Slowly brush some maple syrup onto the asparagus. Turn and brush again.
Take off the pan and enjoy!
