If you want to spice up your pasta, pizza or any meal, try our homemade chili oil with fresh chillies. Scotch Bonnet Peppers are REALLY hot so you’re going to want to be very careful. So here is how to make pepper infused olive oil.

First, fill up a pot or sauce pan with olive oil. Heat it up on LOW. Do not go any higher than low. Cut up some scotch bonnet peppers – make sure to use gloves or wash your hands because these peppers are HOT and will burn your skin if you touch your face.

Let the oil simmer with the peppers for about 20 minutes. Once it’s done, turn the stove off and let it cool.

Take out the peppers – thrown em out. Put the olive oil in a bottle. Cut up a few more peppers and put them into the bottle.

There you have it! Pepper infused olive oil. This also works with chili peppers, jalapenos, pimento etc.
