For this keto chicken and dumpling soup, I used ground almonds and whey isolate as the flour. Cooking these dumplings in the soup makes them so delicious!
I love making chicken noodle soup and that's why this is the base for our chicken and dumpling soup! Minus the noodles of course.
I originally did this recipe with just almond flour and while it was delicious - the dumplings fell apart. That's why its vital that you use xanthan gum to hold it together.

I really like to enjoy this keto chicken and dumpling soup in the fall, when the leaves have turned red, orange and brown and the weather is mild!
